I have been at Continental School for 13 years.  I started as a Para-Professional working one on one with special needs students.  I became the Librarian 5 years ago and decided to finish my degree in Elementary Education.  I currently work with students K-5 weekly in the library as well as have a STEM and Newspaper middle school class.

I am happily married to Mr. Lathen, the Director of Student Services.  We have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls.  2 of our children attend Sahuarita High School, 1 attends Waldon Grove and 1 attends Continental School.  We live on a ranch so we have a ton of animals.  We have dogs, chickens, horses, mules and pigs.

Our family is a big sports family.  All of our children play sports throughout the year.  So we are usually on a ball field or court somewhere.  We are also huge Az Cardinals fans.  So when the games are on, we are watching!
